Creekside Treehouse & Lavender Farm

We so enjoyed our stay at Creekside treehouse. The tour was wonderful and the picking of the lavender was such a treat. We were lucky enough to be there during a peak time. Gorgeous lavender!!We set our alarm to see the sun rise from our balcony. Magnificent!! The treehouse was small but so lovely; perfect for 2. We had everything we needed. Calyx Creek is situated between North Liberty and The Amanas. The country roads were lovely! We ate in North Liberty at the Copper Boar. Very good( the pickle French fries were amazing) Visited the Devonian Fossil beds at Coralville Lake. So cool. Highly recommend Amanas the next day. A wonderful retreat for us and so close to home! We’ll be back !

We stayed 2 nights, beautifully built homes, balcony’s have good views. Stayed In mid April, the lavender wasn’t fully bloomed and they were still doing some renovations and seeding, which was fine, to see the farm in full effects though I think we’ll book during mid summer next time. The gift shop had so many cool things, well priced, all the staff were so accommodating we can’t wait to come back!

The treehouse was beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed. The only thing I’d recommend bringing is bottled water, as there was no filtered water. The scenery is amazing and definitely a place for rest and relaxation. The owner responds quickly and even opened up the shop for us- lots of homemade lavender goodies. So easy to get to both Iowa City and Cedar Rapids for food and entertainment. We’ll definitely be back!

This place was the perfect getaway for our family! Our kiddos loved the loft and we had plenty of room for our family of 4 and our fur baby. We enjoyed the property and are excited to come again when the lavender is in full bloom! Strongly recommend this Treehouse!!
